Old Fashioned

Considered the first cocktail in history. Its origins go back to the end of the 18th century, in Kentucky. Official cocktail of the IBA and recognized as a classic number 1 by “Drinks International Magazine”.
 

Ingredients

  • 60ml Whisky / Bourbon
  • Few Dashes Angostura
  • 7ml Simple Syrup
  • Ice cubes
  • Orange twist
  • Dehydrated ginger (optional)

Construction

Garnish

Orange Twist and dehydrated ginger.

Preparation

  1. In Old Fashion glasses, add 7ml Simple Syrup and few dashes angostura
  2. Fill the glass with ice cubes and add whiskey. Stir gently.
  3. Garnish with orange twist and flavor the cocktail with a pinch of dehydrated ginger (optional).
