Galanga Tao


  • 50ml whisky
  • Pilé ice cubes
  • Grated ginger
  • Grated galanga
  • Juice of half a lime
  • 1 teaspoon of granulated honey
  • Chilled Ginger Ale
  • 1 lime slice


  1. On a short mixing glass, infusionate whisky and grated ginger and galanga. Leave stand for 3 minutes and, in the mixture, dissolve a teaspoon of granulated honey in half a lime juice.
  2. On a carved old fashioned cocktail glass, add pilé ice cubes and pour strained mixture. Add chilled ginger ale and garnish.
